Make your journey from Antalya Airport (AYT) to your accommodation a breeze by pre-booking an airport transfer.

Antalya Airport is around eight miles (13km) from Antalya city centre and it takes around 15 minutes to get there on the D400 road. The stylish resort of Belek is around a half-hour drive away, while the journey to glitzy Lara Beach will take around 15 minutes.

Airport transfers will make these journeys simple. Depending on your budget and travel style, you’ll be able to choose between options including cost-effective shuttle services, private transfers, minibuses and, if you’re away for a special occasion, limousines. Perks of the services on offer include convenient door-to-door transport for you and your bags, speed and efficiency, and ease, as you’ll already have paid so there’s no need to have change.

You can get public buses to Antalya’s centre from the airport. You can also get them to Antalya’s bus terminal, north of the centre, and from here you can hop on connections to other destinations nearby. And while transfers will probably cost more than a bus, weigh up whether the convenience of being dropped off outside your hotel and not having to lug yourself and bags on and off buses after a flight is worth the cost.

Transfers are likely to be a faster option too, so whether you’re eager to hit the beach as soon as you arrive or are travelling with kids and want to make the journey from A to B as stress-free as possible, they can maximise your time and minimise effort.

If you’d normally jump in a cab on arrival, consider the ease of an airport transfer. You can book a private transfer from the comfort of your own home, compare your options in your own time and know exactly what you are going to pay. You can also side-step taxi rank queues and be greeted by a driver in arrivals if you opt for a meet-and-greet service.

Airport transfers don’t have to cost a fortune either. If you’re looking for a cheap option, consider a shuttle service, which you’ll share with other passengers. A compromise between this and a private transfer is a speedy shuttle, which has a maximum of four stops. Alternatively, if you’re in a group, consider a minibus where the cost per head will go down if you can fill it.

Still not sure which transfer type to go for? Compare all of your options side-by-side using TravelSupermarket’s handy tool and book safe in the knowledge that you’ve found the best deal for you.
