With over 130 miles (209km) of coastline and an incredible 300 days of sunshine every year, Malta is a beautiful choice for an all-inclusive holiday, whatever the season.

Whether you book a cheap holiday or go for all-out beachfront luxury, it's easy to craft your ideal break. Hit the water with a snorkel or kayak, hike in the hills, discover the history of the ancient catacombs – or pitch up by the pool with an Orzata and do little else.

Top all-inclusive resort towns in Malta

Malta may be small, but its all-inclusive resort game is mighty. Incredible resort towns line the coast of the main island, offering sensational sunsets over the Mediterranean, exclusive beaches and plenty more. Here are a few of our favorites.

St. Julian’s

Get the best of fishing village charm and all-inclusive extravagance with a holiday in St. Julian’s. Stay on a private peninsula to top up your tan on a terrace above the glistening Med. When you’re all sunned out, hit the casino, piano bar or seafront boathouse – all without leaving your resort.

Mellieha

On Malta’s north coast, Mellieha is a great base from which to explore the country’s best beaches as well as the neighbouring islands of Gozo and Camino. But with all-inclusive resorts here packing saunas, steam rooms, dive centres, massage treatments, and plenty of pools with incredible views, it’s a hard place to leave!

St. Paul’s Bay

For an affordable all-inclusive on the Maltese coast, stay in St. Paul’s Bay or Qawra, out on the point. Its chilled-out squares and charming seafront are popular with tourists and locals alike. Back in your resort, expect plenty of bars, rooftop terraces and pools, as well as easy access to beaches that melt into the Med.

All-inclusive holidays for couples in Malta

Island seclusion, charming cobblestone streets, beautiful bays and some of the clearest waters in the Mediterranean — Malta oozes romance. Whether you’re hoping for unforgettable adventures or blissful relaxation on your romantic getaway, Malta has it.

For a quieter stay on the outskirts of Malta’s capital Valletta, head for Sliema. Plan a visit to the Roman baths or stroll along the sunny seafront promenade, then, back at your all-inclusive resort, split your time between the pool, the hot tub and the sun terrace.

To swim in coves below the cliffs, glimpse incredible architecture and explore ancient temples, Qawra is a great base. After your excursion, retreat to your all-inclusive resort for diving, sailing and plenty more watersports, as well as seafront barbecues and shoreline bars. Or just relax on the resort’s private beach.

If you like to party into the night, stay near the capital of Valletta, with its enchanting old world vibe and uber-hip bar and restaurant scene. As well as plenty of clubs and live music venues, the city has a jam-packed festival calendar. Dance till you drop, safe in the knowledge that all-inclusive relaxation is never far away.

All-inclusive holidays for families in Malta

It’s easy to keep everyone entertained on a family holiday to Malta. Dive, climb, hike and explore together, or secure some alone time in indulgent spas and beach bars while the kids blow off steam in activity clubs, waterparks and pools, pools, pools.

Mellieha is great for a resort holiday. Think private beaches, kids’ clubs, games rooms and theme nights to keep the little ones entertained. For you, there are spas, adult-only pools and in-resort babysitting services. If you fancy a day out, try Popeye Village for boat rides, trampolines and mini golf.

For more waterborne adventures, stay near Bugibba. As well as all-inclusive resorts heaving with spas, exclusive beaches, kids’ pools and activity clubs, you’re mere minutes from Naxxar’s Splash & Fun Water Park. Plus, you can set sail from the jetty to Malta’s caves, Blue Lagoon and the quieter islands of Gozo and Comino.

Qawra is another great family-friendly spot on Malta’s north coast. When you’re not in your resort spa, by the pool or dining in seaview restaurants, do book a family dive. Many resorts run scuba experiences with fully-qualified instructors, so you can explore beneath the waves for an unforgettable family day out.
