What happened in the latest leaderboard update?
The most recent Holiday Hotlist update saw us analyse our July 2026 data, comparing average prices and searches to May in order to determine the new rankings. This revealed the cheapest destinations at the moment, as well as where’s trending.
The latest ranking update saw Menorca crowned as the new number one destination right now while Malta soared up the leaderboard to #3.
1. Menorca, Spain

Menorca is the new number one destination right now, surging up the Holiday Hotlist rankings amid soaring interest and falling prices. This idyllic Balearic island has more than 70 beaches, from secluded pine-packed coves to sprawling golden-sand stretches, as well as sleepy fishing villages perfect for a peaceful escape.
