1. It’s not uncommon to see goats feeding next to – or even on – the road when driving around in Rhodes. Pay attention at all times, as they’ve been known to stroll around even very busy highways.
2. Due to Rhodes’ narrow roads, you’ll often see pedestrians walking on the street due to the lack of pavements, so take care when driving round corners or late at night.
3. Finding a parking place can often be a challenge in Rhodes’ busiest spots, especially during the height of summer. Keep your eyes peeled for blue road signs with white Ps on them, and don’t forget to buy a ticket from the nearest automated machine once you’ve parked up.
