Step off your flight to Menorca feeling completely relaxed, knowing that there’s an airport transfer waiting to whisk you to your accommodation.

Whether you’re a busy parent travelling with your kids or are on a well-deserved break after a hectic spell at work, an airport transfer will make your arrival stress-free. Pre-booked transfer options at Menorca Airport (MAH) include cheap shuttle services, minibuses, private vehicles, and, if you want to start your holiday in style, limousines. They will take you to a variety of resorts across the island and most will drop you at your door. You’ll be on the beach in no time.

The airport is located around four miles south of the island’s capital Mahon and it takes around 10 minutes to reach the city by road. The family-friendly resort of Cala’n Bosch is around a 50-minute drive north from the airport, Cala’n Blanes is a 45-minute drive, and beach haven Son Bou is just 20 minutes away by road.

Public buses run from the airport to Mahon every hour in low season and every half hour in high. There are also buses connecting you to most parts of the island. This option may sound tempting if you’re on a budget, but consider whether it’s worth paying slightly more to avoid a wait at the airport and to be dropped at your door. There are cost-effective airport transfers available, such as coaches and shuttles, and the speed and ease may be worth paying slightly more for.

There are also taxis at a rank at the airport, which are metered. If you like to travel to your resort alone, avoid queues and any haggling by pre-booking a private transfer. If you’re in a group or with family, a private minibus could be a good option and, the bigger your group, the cheaper the price per head is likely to be.

So you can see all of the options in one place and to avoid being pressured into making a decision while you’re away, use a comparison service such as TravelSupermarket’s airport transfer tool. This way, you can choose an option to match your style and budget, and pay for it before you even leave your house. Then, when you arrive, all you need to worry about is which beach to visit and whether to swim or read your book.
