Arrive in Dalaman Airport (DLM) safe in the knowledge that your transport will be simple after pre-booking an airport transfer.

Dalaman Airport, in southwest Turkey, is a gateway to the resorts on the country’s Turquoise Coast. The popular resort of Marmaris is around an hour and a half away by road, Fethiye is around a 50-minute drive away, and picture-perfect Olu Deniz is just over an hour’s drive away. Dalaman itself is less than a 10-minute drive away while the laid-back village of Dalyan is a little more than half an hour away.

The main public transport option from Dalaman Airport is taxi, with official yellow taxis waiting outside the arrivals terminal. However, you’ll have to do your homework for this option, researching how much is reasonable to pay and how many Turkish lira there are to the pound.

You could make your life simpler by pre-booking an airport transfer and then you can skip the taxi queue and any stress surrounding it. Options at Dalaman Airport include cheap shuttle services, private vehicles, minibuses and even exclusive limousines. Make a decision on how you’d like to get around and budget for the journey before you’ve even boarded the plane.
