It takes just two hours to fly to Corsica from the UK. This French island in the Mediterranean Sea is ringed by pristine beaches, crowned by jagged mountains and rich with history and culture - don't be surprised, then, to fall a little bit in love with Corsica.

Find flights to Corsica with TravelSupermarket and prepare to leave a little bit of your heart on this magical island...

Sitting to the north of the island of Sardinia and within sailing distance of the French Riviera and the thigh of Italy, the island of Corsica is a pleasure for the senses. The sweet scent of the pine trees that line the beach, the feel of sand as soft as icing sugar between your bare toes, the taste of French cuisine with a Corsican twist, the sound of yacht masts gossiping in the harbours, and the sight of sheer cliffs that plummet towards turquoise seas: all this and more will be etched on your mind after a Corsica holiday.

Of the half a dozen airports on the island, three welcome flights to Corsica from the UK.

Arrive at Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (AJA) to enjoy holidays in Ajaccio, the largest urban area on Corsica. Located on the west coast of the island, the city sprawls around a wide bay, where passengers pour out of cruise ships to stroll the typically Mediterranean streets in the shade of palm trees. The airport is also handy for visitors arriving for breaks in medieval Bonifacio and the beaches of Porto Vecchio, both of which are in the south of Corsica.

Calvi - Sainte-Catherine Airport (CLY) is a short distance from the northern city of Calvi, which is one of the most popular holiday hotspots on the island.

Also in the north of Corsica is Bastia - Poretta Airport (BIA), which is well located for access to the historic port city of Bastia. Break away from the city and journey towards the finger of land known as Cap Corse, where you'll find empty beaches among the nature reserves, hills and wineries.

Though direct flights are less frequent during the cooler winter months, you can find cheap flights to Corsica for departures throughout the year when you search for deals on TravelSupermarket.
