The best beaches can be found in Cottlesloe, Crawley, the City, Port and Scarborough. Other brilliant tourist attractions include Rottnest Island, the Perth Zoo, Kings Park and the world-renowned Aquarium.
Perth is easy to get to. Perth International Airport, which has the airport code of PER, is served by a wide range of airlines which operate both nationally and internationally. Once you arrive in Perth you can enjoy visiting a wide range of state museums, lounge on the beautiful beaches, or enjoy the brilliant water sports in the region. There are also a wide range of fishing and diving opportunities for both beginners and more experienced practitioners.

However, September and October are particularly good months to visit in terms of offering the best climate and the opportunity to go diving and enjoy all of the sights without having to worry about other tourists visiting during the traditional holiday season.

Margaret River is best known for its wine tours and the Coral Coast, which is a popular spot for whale watching and diving are all within a few hours' drive. While you're on the Coral Coast, be sure to check out the wildflowers in the conservation park and go for a drive around the Nambung national park.
Other popular attractions include the town of Kalgoorlie, which is renowned for its vibrant social life and the spectacular Wave Rock a 110m long, 14m high natural rock formation which looks a lot like a breaking ocean wave. The rock forms the northern side of a hill, known as the Hyden Rock. The rock is of cultural significance to the Aboriginal population and attracts more than 140,000 tourists each year.
Another popular attraction is the Monkey Mia resort, a dolphin resort near Shark Bay, to the north of Perth. The resort is an 800km drive from Perth, but it is well worth the trip for anyone who appreciates beautiful waters and rich wildlife. Monkey Mia is home to many bottlenose dolphins and visitors can watch feedings and get up-close and personal with these beautiful creatures.
