Freedom Trail

This walk around Boston, which can be done at your own pace or with a guide, ties together some of the city's most important historical sites, places where the flames of passion for independence were fanned. Follow the red bricks and read the inscriptions at each of the 16 locations to piece together the past. Stops include the Old South Meeting House, Paul Revere's House and the USS Constitution in Charlestown.

If you want to see the famous street sign and bar exterior from the popular television show you'll have to travel to Beacon Hill, though a faithful recreation of the set in Faneuil Hall lures crowds. Sup a drink and get ready to shout “Norm”!
