Loule is a small, pretty town just a half an hour's drive from Vilamoura. It is paved with cobbles with narrow, quaint streets. It is 16km (10 miles) north of Faro and is famous for its gypsy market, where you can purchase some unique souvenirs.
Just a 30-minute drive away in Guia is the Algarve's waterpark - Zoomarine. This is a fun day out for all the family where you can watch shows with dolphins, seals and sea lions. There is an aquarium home to sharks and there is an opportunity to swim and interact with dolphins, making the trip unforgettable.
