A public bus runs every one to two hours from the airport into the city of Almeria. It takes around 35 minutes to reach the central bus and railway station. From here you can catch a train or bus to destinations near and far.

Alternatively, take a taxi from the official rank at the airport. The meter will be used. An approximate fare for the 30-minute journey to Roquetas de Mar is €50 (around £40).

Hiring a car is relatively cheap in Spain, so it's a popular option for Almeria holidays.
