Tenerife is an established favourite among British holidaymakers and flights to Costa Adeje are a breeze to come by.
Bear in mind that Tenerife has two airports: Tenerife-South Airport (TFS) and Tenerife-North Airport (TFN), which serves the resorts of Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz. You’ll need to arrive into Tenerife South, unless you fancy a whopping cross-island trip to get to Costa Adeje.
Be sure to double check you’ll be landing in the right spot before splashing out on your flights.
Ryanair runs flights to Tenerife South from Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. easyJet operates flights to Tenerife South from Gatwick, Luton and Southend. Not only that, Norwegian, British Airways and TUI all fly in and out of Gatwick.
In other words, flights to Tenerife run almost as frequently as London buses! Flights are direct and take around four and a half hours (and, if you’re eager to avoid a pre-dawn wake up call, there are plenty of socially acceptable flight times up for grabs!).
