Take a big lungful of air when you arrive in Spain’s fourth-largest city. The scent of oranges is there, sure, but there’s more, much more to savour in the atmosphere of this scintillating southern metropolis. It’s there in the ferocious click-clack of flamenco heels, in the dusty arena of a bullfight, in the buzz around each new and striking piece of architecture. There’s a fresh energy around ancient Seville too, especially at the Alcazar, where “Game of Thrones” fans pour in to see the real Water Gardens of Dorne.
Book cheap flights to Seville and feel the sparkling spirit of the Andalusian capital for yourself.
If you’re looking to go DIY on a Spanish seaside break, you could fly into Seville, hire a car and be at the beach in just over an hour. The resorts of the Costa del Sol, such as Benalmadena, Marbella and Fuengirola, are two hours by road from Seville Airport (SVQ). The windy Costa de la Luz, where sporty types hit the waves of Tarifa and Conil, can also be reached in two hours.

For all its attractions, non-stop flights from UK airports to Seville are fairly limited...
In fact, the three-hour flight can only be made non-stop from London Airports. British Airways and easyJet fly year round from London Gatwick with Ryanair, with the Irish carrier offering additional services from Stansted.
That doesn’t mean you can’t reach this Andalusian gem from other points in the UK, though. Connecting BA flights to Gatwick operate from Scotland and Newcastle, and there are also Air France/KLM options from around the country via their hubs in Paris and Amsterdam. Lufthansa flies via Frankfurt and Munich and you can use TAP via Lisbon from London and Manchester too.
Connecting flights take around five hours from the UK. On arrival the airport is a short hop from the city with ample taxis and bus transfers available.
