Santorini Holidays to this iconic island don't need to break the bank.

No holiday on the horizon? These deals will change that.

Whether you're after a short-but-sweet stay to cure your wanderlust or a full week in the sun, here are three fabulous deals to get in your calendar today.

And if nothing quite floats your boat, I'll be back next week with even more great-value getaways – because everyone deserves a holiday.

3-night Madrid city break from £317pp

Madrid is such an underrated city, which is wild when you remember it’s the Spanish capital! But with so many amazing Spanish cities to visit (looking at you Barcelona, Valencia and Palma), it does sometimes get forgotten about.

But with affordable food and drink prices, endless cultural charm and beautiful public parks like El Retiro Park, Madrid is an unbeatable city break.

With this deal, you’ll be flying from London Gatwick to Madrid with easyJet holidays. That means you'll also get a checked bag thrown in the deal.

Your hotel – Ganivet – is well located and in easy walking distance to the main squares of Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Plus, Madrid’s metro system can whizz you around the city in no time. You’re just a two-minute walk from the closest stop.

Like almost everywhere in Spain, August in Madrid can get pretty hot. But the good news is that there’s air-conditioning in your hotel, plus a rooftop pool to keep you cool.

The deal: Three nights at the Hotel Ganivet in Madrid from £317pp on a room-only basis. Flights departing London Gatwick on 20 August 2024.

7-night Santorini holiday from £369pp

Always fancied Santorini in the summer but didn’t think you’d have the budget? This deal is fantastic value, especially as it’s for a full week in the peak summer period.

Flying from Manchester with easyJet, you’ll get a 23kg checked bag each and shared transfers too.

Your hotel – the two-star Dilino – is clean, comfortable and close to the beach. It may not be the fanciest, but it makes a great base for getting out and exploring. I mean, who wants to stay in their hotel all day when they’re on a Greek island anyway?

Speaking of which, a cheap public bus runs every 15 minutes from nearby Kamari. For more independence, look into car hire for all or part of your trip. When looking at these dates, I found car hire from £26 a day with airport pickup.

Another tip: while the village of Oia is the go-to spot for sunsets, it will get very busy for these dates. Fira is just as spectacular but is likely to be less crowded, or if you have a hire car, why not make it your mission to find your own secluded spot for stunning sundowners?

The deal: Seven nights at the two-star Dilino in Kamari from £369pp on a room-only basis. Flights departing from Manchester on 9 July 2024.

7-night Dalaman holiday from £576pp

Last week, I was asked for a deal for Scots who can only go away during the school holidays. It was the perfect chance to use the cheeky hack of finding a deal flying from Newcastle Airport instead, where the kids are still in school in early July.

Using TravelSupermarket’s comparison search, you’ll see the cheapest price for this deal is £576pp when booking with TUI - it's great value given you'll have checked luggage and transfers thrown in too.

You’ll be staying at Club Alla Turca in Dalaman. Set in lush gardens, tree-topped mountains provide the perfect backdrop to your dip in the pool. It’s also got amazing reviews, with guests noting its great location. This review gives a good summary: “The hotel is basic but beautiful. Chilled, but close enough to everywhere. Would I go again? 100% and I don’t usually ever go anywhere twice.”

If you need airport parking at Newcastle Airport, book it sooner rather than later as prices can go up. Right now, for example, you can get parking just 300 yards from the terminal for just £16.43 per day.

The deal: Seven nights at the four-star Club Alla Turca from £576pp with breakfast included. Flights departing from Newcastle on 7 July 2024.
