The best Corfu holidays for summer and autumn 2026

1. Squeeze in a family school-holiday summer break to Pyrgi from £428pp

If you still haven’t sorted a summer break for the family, fret not. There’s still plenty of budget-friendly options out there, particularly this late August getaway to Pyrgi, an incredibly picturesque fishing village on Corfu’s west coast.

Flying from Bristol in late August – and arriving home before school starts again – two adults and two children can spend seven nights at the Antigoni Apartments in a simple but spacious two-bedroom spot with a lounge, kitchenette and balcony or terrace. That’s right, there’s no sleeping all in one room here.

This family-run property has a small outdoor pool shared with a neighbouring hotel, which has been known to get quite lively at times. While the kitchenette helps keep costs down. If you do want to venture out though, nearby Ipsos has a beach, restaurants, bars and shops galore, only a ten-minute walk away.

As for who to book with, it depends on what you want included. First Choice is cheapest at £428 per person, while TUI costs £498 per person with checked baggage and transfers. Both are good deals; it just comes down to which extras matter most to you.

2. Enjoy September’s laid-back island life in Gouvia from £380pp

If you’re looking for a relaxed resort base close to local nightlife and within easy reach of Corfu Town, then Gouvia (just five miles/ 8km away) is a great option.

Flying from London Stansted in late September, you’ll spend seven nights at Paradise Hotel Corfu. Set among olive and palm trees, this small, friendly three-star hotel has a pool overlooking Kommeno Bay, while its modern, air-conditioned rooms feature stylish furnished balconies. Your double room comes with a garden view, and with this deal, your breakfast is included too.

Alongside the hotel’s buffet breakfast and restaurant, you’ll find plenty of places to eat and drink around a 15-minute walk away, although there’s an uphill stretch on the return – you have been warned! For food, drink and history, take the number seven bus to Corfu Town. I recommend trying pastitsada, a traditional Corfiot dish of meat, spiced tomato sauce and pasta. Sounds good, right?!

3. Treat yourself to a stylish Autumnal all-inclusive stay in Corfu from £788pp

Looking to head away in October? Temperatures in Corfu sit around a daily maximum of 22⁰C, so plenty warm enough to properly enjoy the island’s scenic spots.

This one is a treat for two adults. Not only will you be staying at Avali, Mar-Bella Collection, a boutique five on Corfu’s eastern coast, but it’s on an all-inclusive basis, so you won’t have to lift a finger.

My top tip for making a stay like this more affordable is to travel during the final week of the season. At £788 per person, it’s £320 cheaper than going two weeks prior. And that’s per person!

Flying from East Midlands in October, you’ll spend five nights at this contemporary beachfront retreat, which opened in 2025. Early reviews have been extremely positive, with guests praising its stylish design, friendly service and peaceful setting. There’s a large outdoor pool, a small pebbly beach, indoor and outdoor gyms, and rooms with balconies or terraces.

The weather may be less predictable and nearby businesses could be winding down, but with premium all-inclusive dining, a poolside food truck and complimentary minibar drinks, you can simply settle in and enjoy the hotel.
