From Spanish islands to the Italian Lakes, we've crunched the numbers at TravelSupermarket HQ to reveal the cheapest holiday destinations departing from seven UK airports this summer – so you can snap up a budget sunshine break wherever you’re flying from.
Fly from London this summer and you won’t be short on cheap holiday deals, with Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton all major hubs for package holiday operators.
Start your search with Turkey’s Dalaman area, where week-long getaways cost £539pp on average. For equal amounts of sunshine and sights, Marrakech is your next best bet for a summer steal.
Kefalonia comes in third. Home to budget-friendly resorts such as Lassi and Lixouri (both among the best-value in Greece this summer), it’s a top spot for a cheap and cheerful seaside stay.
Alternatively, look to Gran Canaria or the Costa Dorada for a sunshine holiday in Spain that won’t blow your budget.

Those in Manchester will want to hit up the Italian Lakes this summer, where the average cost for a seven-night holiday comes in at just £421pp. Lake Como is the pick for stunning scenery and even lovelier villas, or jump on the ferry to tour Lake Garda’s charming towns.
The rest of the line up is all about Spain. Canary island favourites, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria take second and fourth spot, while the Costa Dorada and the Costa Blanca complete the top five.
Whichever you choose, you can expect all the summer holiday essentials (read brilliant all-inclusive hotels, endless activities and sunshine for days) for prices between £608pp and £628pp.

Based in Liverpool? You’ll want to make a beeline for the Costa Dorada for a cheap summer holiday this year. Seven-night getaways average an enticing low £469pp – that’s a whopping £151pp cheaper than departures from Manchester (Mancunians, take note)!
Stick to Spain and you can also find bargains in Lanzarote, Tenerife and the Costa Blanca. Whether you’re after sunsets and sangria or traditional towns and tapas, you’re sure to find a budget break to suit.
Further afield, the Dalaman area is also a great-value destination, and you can bag a week of Turquoise Coast bliss from £585pp.

The Costa Dorada is on a roll as a wallet-friendly escape. So much so that it’s over £100pp cheaper than Birmingham's other ranking destinations.
Book a week’s summer holiday to one of the Costa Dorada’s well-loved resorts and you can expect to pay an average of £493pp compared to the Greek islands of Kefalonia (£609pp) and Corfu (£621pp), which take second and third place. That said, there are still great-value deals to be snapped up in the latter two, especially for travellers in May or early June.
Dalaman takes the fourth spot, while Fuerteventura is Spain’s pick for a family island escape from Birmingham. Its sparkling turquoise seas and laidback atmosphere are well worth the £649pp price tag.

Gran Canaria wins as the cheapest summer holiday destination, almost £60pp cheaper to fly to from Newcastle than Manchester. The Costa Blanca comes second, followed by Fuerteventura in third, at £631pp. Our data reveals that Newcastle is the cheapest airport overall to fly to Fuerteventura this summer, ahead of Birmingham and Edinburgh.
Other budget-friendly destinations to consider are Majorca and Lanzarote. Both boast toasty temperatures in summer and ample accommodation options to choose from.
