Great news for holiday-hunters in London and the Home Counties! Jet2 is bringing its popular package holidays and flights to London Luton Airport, with an exciting line-up of 17 sun-soaked destinations launching for summer 2025.
Among these are three exclusive routes you won't find with any other airline from Luton – flights to Spain's beautiful Costa Brava via Girona airport, the stunning island paradise of Madeira and the romantic Italian city of Verona.
From 1 April 2025, you’ll be able to jet off to some of Europe's top holiday spots directly from the north-of-London hub. So whether you're dreaming of lounging on Spanish beaches, exploring Greek islands or soaking up the Turkish sunshine, it’s worth checking out their new line-up.
The Spanish offerings are particularly impressive, with flights to Majorca running up to six times weekly, perfect for those seeking flexible travel dates or short breaks. You'll also find regular services to the party island of Ibiza and mainland favourite Alicante. For year-round sunshine seekers, the Canary Islands are well-served with regular flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.
Greek island enthusiasts haven't been forgotten, with summer services whisking you away to the historic shores of Crete, the beautiful beaches of Rhodes and the crystal-clear waters of Zante.
Turkey's Med coast is also within easy reach, with regular flights to both Antalya and Dalaman opening up a world of beautiful beaches and rich culture.
Portuguese destinations feature strongly too, with frequent flights to the Algarve through Faro airport, perfect for accessing those golden Atlantic beaches and world-class golf courses.
The expansion marks Luton as Jet2's 13th airport base in the UK, representing a significant investment in the region. The airline will base two brand-new Airbus A321neo at the airport – aircraft known for their improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise levels compared to older models.
For local residents in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, the new hub means more choice and potentially more competitive pricing on popular routes. With 430,000 seats available across the summer season and up to 36 weekly flights, there should be good availability even during peak travel times.
